Bed Lifting Poles
Bed Lifting Poles are designed to help a user sit upright in bed by holding onto the handle, which is supplied with the lifting pole. The patient is then able to adjust themselves as required, with little or no aid from a carer.
Bed lifting poles are available to fit into specific bed frames such as the Harvest Healthcare or Drive Devilbiss range of beds. Lift poles should only be used with the beds they are designed to fit.
Other types of lift pole are freestanding such as the Free Standing Patient Helper and these can be positioned on the floor behind the headboard.
