Specifically engineered to meet the comfort needs of individuals with pressure management issues and to provide adaptable support for neurological and postural conditions.
With a unique combination, of Tilt in Space and independently controlled back recline and leg elevation, carers can constantly adjust the user’s position to relieve pressure and provide all-day comfort.
Ideal as part of a 24-hour postural care programme there are many feature options that allow the adaptation of the chair for specific pressure management and postural issues.
These features include seat depth and width adjustment, adjustable and sliding footplates and most importantly there is a choice of seven seat and seven back cushions, all removable, interchangeable, replaceable and each designed with different postural and pressure management qualities.
The ability to remove and interchange these cushions ensures that the chair can be adapted over time for changing conditions or new users, giving greater longevity of usage.
The Melrose Porter healthcare chair is ideally suited to all health environments but can be used in a domestic setting.

A delivery and installation service for this product is included as the chair is delivered in heavy boxes for safe transportation. This is a white glove delivery service by a specialist partner company and includes a call to arrange a convenient delivery day and approximate time of arrival, This service includes unpacking and assembly of the product for you, a demonstration of how to operate safely and removal of all packaging.
