The Bradshaw Bariatric Low beds are designed to cater safely for patients weighing up to 318kg (50st) in the community, nursing and residential care environments. Available in an attractive light oak wood finish.

Mattress Selection information:

A high risk Acclaim Bariatric VE Mattress is available with the Bradshaw Bariatric Bed, The Acclaim VE mattress range is made from visco-elastic foam with welded seams and integral block foam side formers for added stability during patient transfers in and out of the bed. Featuring a multi-stretch vapour permeable PU coated fabric cover. This bariatric mattress supports a max user weight up to 317kg (50st).

For patients who require an alternating air mattress the Drive Simple Plus Air Mattress System 1200 Wide is also available.

The risk of developing a pressure sore is affected by many factors. The most common factors are:

• Reduced Mobility
• Significant loss of sensation
• A previous or current pressure ulcer;
• Nutritional deficiency;
• The inability to re position without help; and
• Significant cognitive impairment.

Delivery Options:

• • Delivery only.  This is a kerbside delivery and the bed is delivered in kit form ready for home assembly.
  • Delivery and Installation.  The Bed will be delivered by an engineer who will assemble the bed and demonstrate the functions.
