Harvest Woburn Ultimate 1400 Bed:

The Woburn Ultimate 1400 Profiling Bed is designed for bariatric patients use.

Designed with aluminium side rails and an under-bed strengthening bar, the Ultimate is able to support weights of up to 60 Stone / 381 kg. The bed is also available in both 1200mm and 1400mm wide.

A range of wide fit, bariatric active and static mattresses are available to fit the bed. To ensure the end user complies with Bed Rail Regulations, the bed will support a maximum mattress depth of 260mm. (The high risk mattress option is suitable for patients up to 247kg / 39 Stone).

For taller patients, the bed can optionally be extended by 200mm.

Warranty:

• The Woburn Bed has a 7 year warranty on the frame and 5 years on woodwork and electrics.  Please note that an annual bed service is required to ensure that the warranty remains valid.

Mattress Selection

• The Bed is offered with a choice of either a Medium or High Risk Pressure care mattress. Anyone can develop a pressure ulcer, the risk of developing one is affected by many factors. The most common factors are:-
• Reduced Mobility
• Significant loss of sensation
• A previous or current pressure ulcer
• Nutritional deficiency
• The inability to re position without help
• Significant cognitive impairment.
• Pressure ulcers most often occur on :-
• Heels / Ankles / Feet = 25%
• Buttocks / Sacrum / Hips = 51%
• Other ( Ears / Elbows / Spine ) =24%
• If in doubt which mattress to choose for long term care it is always advisable to choose a high risk mattress.

Delivery Options:-

• FREE Delivery only.  This is a kerbside delivery and the bed is delivered in kit form ready for home assembly.
• Delivery and Installation.  The bed will be delivered by an engineer who will assemble the bed and demonstrate the functions.
