Harvest Woburn Profiling Bed:

The Harvest Woburn is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for comfort, safety, and practicality all in one. This is a profiling bed, meaning it’s fully adjustable to suit your needs. You can raise the backrest up to 70 degrees for sitting up comfortably, adjust the knee break to 30 degrees to keep your legs supported, and even change the height of the entire bed from 365mm to 795mm with just the touch of a button. That height range is especially great for caregivers, making it easier and safer to assist without straining their backs.

The Woburn bed is built with quality in mind. It’s got sturdy wooden side rails that collapse below the mattress level when you don’t need them, but extend high enough to safely accommodate a mattress up to 205mm thick—perfect for adding extra comfort or pressure relief. It’s designed to handle a maximum user weight of 185kg (about 29 stone) and a safe working load of 220kg (34 stone), so it’s robust and reliable for a wide range of people.

Safety’s a big focus here too. The side rails require a two-handed operation to adjust, which prevents accidental drops—a thoughtful touch for peace of mind. Plus, it comes with a lockable handset, so only the right people can make adjustments. The bed’s electric controls are smooth and quiet, and it sits on braked wheel castors, so it stays steady when you want it to but can be moved easily when needed.

It’s versatile as well—ideal for care homes, hospitals, or even home use.  you can add an extension to make it longer if you’re taller. Pair it with a Harvest mattress—medium or high-risk foam, or even an alternating air one—and you’ve got a bed that’s tailored to your comfort and care needs.

Harvest Woburn Bed features:
  • The Woburn bed raises from 365mm up to 795mm which provides a much better working height for nursing staff.
  • It now has an increased side rail height, allowing for the use of deeper mattresses which in turn provide better pressure relief.
  • Adjustment of the back rest knee break and platform height can all be done at the touch of a button.

Warranty:
  • The Woburn Bed has a 7 year warranty on the frame and 5 years on woodwork and electrics.  Please note that an annual bed service is required to ensure that the warranty remains valid.

Mattress Selection information:

The bed can be delivered with a choice of either a Medium Risk Harvest Community Foam Mattress or the High Risk Harvest Community Plus Foam Mattress, 

If in doubt which mattress to choose for long term care, it is always advisable to choose a high risk mattress or speak to a healthcare professional for advice.

Harvest Alternating Air mattresses are also available for higher risk users.

Bed Delivery Options:
    • FREE Delivery only.  (2-3 Working days) This is a kerbside delivery and the bed is delivered in kit form ready for home assembly.
    • Delivery and Installation.  (Any Area Mainland UK Approx. 5 working days) The Bed will be delivered and assembled by the engineer who will demonstrate the beds functions.
