The table is very sturdy and well built, and you can see why it has an expensive but not unattainable price, especially when you compare it to a good quality under the bed style standard hospital tables on the market.
In bedside table mode, l am still able to reach my tablets, TV controller, water, and a space to the side of the grab rails to put my phone (easy to reach and nothing in the way).
I am independent enough to swing the table round myself. The arm of the table has a joint which I can use to aid the table in avoiding my knees and pillows and duvets etc, even with my legs raised on the bed setting.
The table comes close to the body, which is great for me as, sometimes, I am unable to move hardly at all.
The only issues I have with the table are, it could be a little larger (an inch all around would make a big difference), the surface could be made non slip and a lip around the edge would be an advantage, just in case, say, a water bottle should tip over, to stop it falling off. I have since bought a non-slip tray to attach with Velcro, to make it my perfect table.
